BUY & SELL NOTICEBOARD DO'S AND DON'Ts
The BUY & SELL notice board is free for all Totsdays users but please do read the guidelines below.
This notice board is intended for local parents/carers to sell, buy or give away their own used baby or toddler items. It can also be used to sell your unwanted tickets for children's shows/events. *Please see the list below detailing what you can and can't sell/offer.
* Items Suggested and Items Not Permitted (Sorry!):
Items can include nursery equipment, clothes, toys, books, prams, buggies, etc. Tickets you have bought you cannot use for a children's show or event can also be sold or given away. The board is not for organisations to sell/promote/distribute tickets.
Please do not include the following for Health & Safety reasons:

Car Seats (Used / Not Used)
Used Sterilising Equipment
Electrical Equipment
Used Bottles, Cups, Dummies and other used baby feeding equipment
Used Cot Mattresses
However you can offer any sterilising or feeding equipment if it is still sealed in its original wrapping.
It may also be used by local playgroups, nurseries, childminders or pre-schools to appeal for toys, books clothing, etc.
This notice board is not to be used for commercial purposes.
Please do put your email address in your notice so anyone responding can contact you. Users are welcome also to post their contact telephone numbers but this is done at entirely their own risk.
It may be helpful to add the area where you live so people reading your notice will have an idea how far they need to travel to collect the item - e.g. Central Chelmsford, Chelmer Village, Little Waltham etc. Anyone is welcome to post an ad, but if you do live further afield don't forget to mention the area you are from if it is relevant. Or for example, if you live elsewhere but work in/visit Chelmsford, you may find this website relevant to advertise your product because you can arrange to drop the item off.
If you would like to see a picture of the item before agreeing to buy/receive, please contact the seller/giver directly. If you are a seller/giver and have an photo, please feel free to mention this in your notice and offer to email this back to anyone interested.
Try and be as accurate as you can. If there is something missing, worn, slightly damaged etc please be clear about this in your notice.
Sales and exchanges should be arranged privately and not openly on this forum. Please make all personal arrangements via telephone or email. Please do not post your address on-line.
Please post a notice when the item has been sold, found or given away to update users.
