As part of LCF Clubs, UK's leading provider of language clubs, El Club Español introduces children to all the zest of the Spanish language in a gentle, fun and engaging way.
Why learn a foreign language?
Learning a foreign language is a rewarding experience, which helps children to:
v Gain a long-life skill.
v Get better understanding and performance of their native language.
v Develop deeper insight into their own and different cultures.
v Improve communication skills.
Why Spanish?
v As an almost completely phonetic language, Spanish is one of the easiest to acquire.
v It helps develop building blocks for other Latin-based languages, such as Italian, Portuguese and French.
v With its rich and varied cultural heritage, comprising over 20 countries, Spanish is one of the most interesting and fun too!
Why El Club Español?
At El Club Español, children and their carers explore, practise and become confident in Spanish, while they play, sing, do crafts and colouring, use puppets, listen to folktales, work in groups and individually, jump, run and even learn the basics of Salsa dancing!
We also have and interactive webpage, a free YouTube Channel, a Twitter page and a free Face book group for parents, just to give our members that something extra which helps to bring Spanish, both the language and the culture, to life.
Clubs
We are accepting members for our Parent and Child Club for children 3-5, at Riverside Ice and Leisure Centre, in Chelmsford. We also have places in our After-School Club for 5-8 years old.
We are in talks to add a Parent and Child club to our Infants and Juniors already running in Springfield Parish Centre, as we have a waiting list for our Saturday’s clubs there.

Tuesdays - Great Baddow
Parent and Child Club: 1400-1430
Parent and Child Club: 1430-1500
Thursdays - Riverside Ice & Leisure Centre, Chelmsford
Parent and Child Club: 1000-1030
Parent and Child Club: 1030-1100
After-School club: 1600-1700
