Fun, Rhymes and useful Keyword Signs - that's what Sing and Sign is all about.
Our programme grows with your baby from 6 months to 3 years of age, preparing them to be confident communicators by the time they start pre-school.
You’ll be amazed at just how much your baby is actually thinking and will be able to ‘tell’ you given the right encouragement and signing basics before his/her speech comes through naturally, helping prevent tantrums resulting from frustration.
Music, new songs, new rhymes, props, musical instruments and pictures help to stimulate your baby while you enjoy a new learning experience in a relaxed, fun atmosphere with like-minded parents / grandparents and carers.
The signs we use are largely compatible with Makaton (as used by ‘Mr Tumble’ on ‘Something Special’) and as such are aimed at hearing babies, although many babies and toddlers with hearing impairment as well as developmental delay have enjoyed successful signing having attended my classes since 2005.
