Tomorrow’s Talent offers a unique opportunity for children aged 3 to 18 to develop their skills in all aspects of performing arts, whether they love to dance, sing or act. We are an independent school based in Chelmsford and have been running for over 6 years. The concept was created by Chelmsford born West End actor, Gavin Wilkinson who has spent the last 15 years performing in London’s West End and directing, choreographing and lecturing at many of the countries top Drama and Dance schools.
Gavin says, ‘Our aim is to provide a training which will enhance and improve the art of performance, in addition to building confidence and social skills within the young individual. We also offer advice for those who are considering entering the profession. All staff are CRB checked and registered chaperones for Essex County Council and have been associated with our school for many years’
We are also aware that for many other students, performing is a hobby which can be continued throughout their lives at an amateur level or to enhance drama, dance and music tuition that may not be realized within their pre/school and school curriculum.
CLASSES
Classes are held every Saturday during term time. A typical session commences with a physical and vocal warm up, group games and activities, followed by singing, acting scenes and dance routines of all styles.
The work culminates in an end of term presentation to family and friends, a great chance for all to see some of the work achieved during term. We hold our end of year presentation at the Civic Theatre, Chelmsford, which seats over 500 people, and has proved to be a critically acclaimed event in the local arts calendar.
TOTS group
‘I thought your school was streets ahead, the whole atmosphere was lovely, the kids were all loving what they were doing and everybody was included. I love your emphasis on fun and enjoyment and that certainly was transmitted to everybody there’
